Meet the Team
Kate Goodall is the Founding CEO of Evermay, an Embassy for the Future, and Cofounder and Managing Partner of Halcyon Venture Partners, making seed stage investments in impact-driven companies. Her north star is to enable the flourishing of others, and she delights in the many forms that takes.
Before these roles, she cofounded Halcyon with Dr. Sachiko Kuno, and served as CEO for its first decade until the end of 2023. In 2018, Goodall launched an international arts and dialogue festival called By The People, in partnership with the Smithsonian, which saw 60,000 visitors each year until the pandemic. In 2016, Goodall helped establish WE Capital, a consortium of leading businesswomen investing in women-led ventures, that formed the basis of Rethink Impact. Prior to that she worked in the museum field, during which time she founded the Emerging Museum Professionals Network, still serving thousands of members today. She’s a recovering Maritime Archaeologist, finds joy in nature, and has two sons who keep her on her toes.
